I made a suggestion for this before, however at the time I didn't know the context behind the meme. Now that I do, it's time to make an actual suggestion that correctly references the meme. In this fun round, there are two special players, one being the Conspirator, and the other being the Co-Conspirator. They are both Traitors, and everyone else is an Innocent. The Co-Conspirator will spawn in the round with The Lion, however the only person able to place it is the conspirator. The role of the Co-Conspirator is to successfully transfer The Lion to the Conspirator so he can place it. The victory conditions for the conspirator and his ally are to successfully plant The Lion, and kill all innocents by any means necessary. If the Co-Conspirator and the Conspirator both die before The Lion is planted, the innocents instantly win. If they both die AFTER planting The Lion, then the fate of the round rests in whether or not it detonates. The victory conditions for the innocents are to survive until all three targets(the Conspirator, the Co-Conspirator and the Lion) are all dead or defused. If the Conspirator and the Co-Conspirator are to kill all innocents(the innos suiciding does not count) before The Lion is placed, the innocents win. This means that once The Lion is planted, the traitors can kill innocents by whatever means necessary(including traitor weapons, eg gauss rifle). If an innocent attempts to defuse The Lion and chooses the wrong wire(the Conspirator's body will not show which wire is correct), The Lion will not instantly explode, but instead whoever attempted the defuse will die, and the innocents will be unable to interact with The Lion for a few seconds.
The point of the fun round is to deliver The Lion to the Conspirator so he can plant and, with the help of his Co-Conspirator, defend The Lion, so making it defusable gives some purpose to defending it.
The probability of defuse is dependent on the timer with regular C4; less time means more chance of defuse.
Ah, I thought you meant it would function like C4s in Counter-Strike. I'd say probably 2 minute defuse timer, and only one of the wires will successfully defuse it.
1. What prevents everyone from simply shooting each other? 2. What if the CC dies first? How will the Lion be given to the Conspirator? 3. How will 2 players defend a bomb from a maximum of 34 players? 4. How long would this fun round take? (At least 2 minutes apparently, because that's how much time you're giving for the Lion to explode) 5. Is the Lion big enough to kill everyone even on a map like Amstervill? -1 because this seems like the least practical fun round ever
This doesn't really fit in with the 'run and gun' quick paced theme of our other fun rounds. Can't say I'd be for this one.
1. It would be RDM. 2. It doesn't matter how he does it, but somehow he has to get it to the Conspirator. Even if that means dying and having the Conspirator pick it up from his corpse. 3. They have to defend it for 2 minutes, and that means for the innocents to win after it's planted they have to find it, kill both the C and CC and then select the right wire. 4. It would have a time limit of like 4 minutes to plant The Lion, if they don't plant it before 4 minutes then the Innocents win, but once it's planted they have the standard 2 minutes of the bomb. They also can't re-plant it once it's been planted. It stays in one place. 5. The lion would just instantly kill all players upon detonation. And as a side note the Conspirator won't be able to plant it in the T room, however him and the CC can access it. Before it's planted, the game would generally be pretty quiet, however once it is, the game could become either really roudy or just as quiet depending on the play style of the C and CC.
Too much organization to be a fun round. What if the bomb carrier chucks the bomb into an unreachable area? What if the bomb carrier disconnects with the bomb? What if the bomb carrier is afk? What if the bomb planter is any of those things? Why would you make an average round on the map Clue a fun round? How would someone make it so that the bomb couldn't be planted in a t room? What if I chuck the bomb into a T room and then arm it? All of the other fun rounds are super simple, not this one Both go in one room, transfer c4, doorspam, ????, profit. Mod is busy with reports or something else and cant warn for round delay? Tough luck, you lost!
There are alot of things that can cause this to go not so well, but im more concerned as to how you think 1 bomb will have enough impact on the map to kill EVERYSINGLE person? That much force on the server would (and im just guessing correct me if im wrong) have to cause a shit ton of lag. Its just too much for a fun round, and the further we discuss this, the less it sounds like a fun round. -1 from me.
