Alright so i think that Elite Needs more models. It only has 5 which is a good amount but it needs some more. Here are some i want. I like that you're looking for new playermodels for elite! It's kind of a rank that is overlooked when it comes to updates. Instead of just stating my opinions, I decided to test them out a bit. Spoiler: Zoidberg Funnily enough, I've seen this model suggested quite often for Deathrun, and took a look at it last night. Despite the fact that he looks like he's suffering from PTSD or a cocaine overdose, it was kind of fun. Not too sure of how well it would fit in though. I'm not a fan of cartoon playermodels personally. Definitely not high enough quality for elite. Maybe bronze. Spoiler: Evidence of cocaine addiction No rating. I do love Futurama though. Spoiler: Link? Alright, we already have toon Link (who many adore) and a normal Zelda. I don't see any need for another variation of Link if there's no reason to get rid of the first, nor do I think we need any more Legend of Zelda around. However, I still took a look at it. There are two versions. One with sword and shield, and one without. I made the mistake of choosing the armed one, and was disappointed at how much it phased through his body. All in all, it was a pretty decent playermodel without that. I'll still give it a -1, as I don't think we need another Link. Spoiler: Bender The model feels extremely awkward and forced. RIP -1
Spoiler: SackBoy Alright. I don't know if I just break everything I touch or what, but I installed everything necessary for it, so one would think it would work fine. Guess I found out why there's no pictures on the Workshop. +1, works well for bumper cars. Spoiler: Professor Farnsworth Let me just say, it's not that I hate Futurama (I love it, good show), I just hate the playermodels... this one especially. I think the end of the video states my opinion well enough, but just in case... -1 Spoiler: Chibiterasu We already have Amaterasu on the server. Why only Amaterasu? I definitely prefer the chibi version, don't get me wrong. But Amaterasu alone is a super tiny model. So tiny in fact, that it almost didn't make the cut to be added. Chibiterasu is a little bit smaller. You see the dilemma. I don't think the absurd amount of cuteness it possesses will ever be enough to make the cut. Spoiler: Amaterasu Spoiler: Chibi -1 due to size, and not its cuteness. RIP
I really am not keen on any of these, Lady has done a detailed breaking down of each model so I don;t need to but personally none of these stand out to me other than Link.
In response to your update to your suggestion thread: The Arthas/Lich King model was already suggested here by yours truly. Spoiler: Genji Genji looks awesome. Was obnoxiously bright while I was testing though. But I was thoroughly amused by the color changing lol. No rating. Spoiler: Voldemort Voldemort seems like a very bland model that I don't see really fitting into the DR pointshop, but the pictures shown on the Workshop page made it seem alright. Which yeah, the face was average, but the robes REALLY bothered me. You'll see why in the video lol. -1 Spoiler: Purple Guy (thing dude person block?) Having never seen him before, he uh...looks unique. Yeah. He breaks his knees whenever he crouches, poor guy.
Spoiler: Lich King I mean, since you brought him up, might as well right? XD Like I said, I've been testing out some models for the past few days and did revisit my one true love, the Lich King himself. I still love the model. Even his frosty gaze is animated! Ahh he's so perfect. Spoiler: Ghost Rider This is another one I tested these past few days, and definitely enjoyed. +1 to both. Also ignore TeamSpeak in the background lol.
