Player Models: What do you think?

Within the upcoming weeks, we will be adding different items to our current barebones PointShop, one of which will be Player Models.

While we have been "Serious" TTT for over two years now, we feel that, while the moniker can stay the same, the environment of the new game mode doesn't necessarily have to follow suit, since Deathrun overall isn't as competitive as TTT.

Part of the reason why models were added few far and between in TTT was due to their poor construction; whether it be hitboxes, shape or quality, it made for a harder target, and we didn't want to give anyone an advantage. With Deathrun, those problems aren't present, so we have more freedom when it comes to adding models.

So, myself, @Darktooth and @Highwon come to you with a question: Would you like to see models of any nature; cartoonish, comical, non-humanoid, just traditional models or both?

I don't mind wacky out of the norm skins. Like that Doritos bag I think that's fine.

The skins that I find a bit annoying are the ones like the eevee pokemon skin linked. The ones that are half size and such like that. There are maps where you are designed to be able to see the death. For example there'd be a window around waist height where you can see the death. With the half sized skins like that, often enough they'll be completely hidden. Instead of just being cosmetic they then give you a distinct gameplay advantage.

Other than that I'd love to see both type of skins

 

I swear, if we put anything that is small i.e. the Eevee, I'm gonna be upset. I understand that hitboxes don't play that much of a role in deathrun but it is still incredibly hard to see a small player model.

I'm up for both, without small player models.

 

I love to see wacky stuff in deathrun. since it's basically a silly game mode.

 

I mean they aren't tiny but they're anywhere from half to 2/3 the size of a normal death model.

It'd probably work out fine if death was limited to the Grim Model or aw similar sized model

 

Deaths model shouldn't ever change from the Grim reaper

 

As long as Harley Quinn gets added im happy

Personally, as long as the model isn't very small, hard to see or hard to hit, I think it should be fine to add to the server. Deathrun isn't as competitive as TTT and doesn't have the same game mechanics, so I think that more customization on the models front would be something that's better suited to Deathrun.

 

I am all for the out of the norm skins that don't need good headshots for like TTT.

 

As long as they are visible height wise and of good quality, why not add whatever you can?

 

I would love to see Characters from anime

 

there some youtuber models I wouldn't mind having, but that's just me . Everyone seem fine with the Doritos Bag, and the..Sanic one.

I dont like the Doritos bag model and the pokemon, but I'd be crazy to not at least give your skin a good ol' 1. Sanic wins.
